Matt is a second generation White River fly fishing guide, following in the steps of his father who guided the White River for many years. Matt moved to Colorado after high school to be a trout bum and hone in his skills, fishing the iconic western rivers such as the Animas. While the scenery out west is unbeatable the fishing does not compare to what the White River and Norfork River offer, so he returned home to Arkansas to start a career as a fly fishing guide and to raise his family. Matt is passionate and gives his undivided attention to every angler that steps foot in his boat, ensuring that their adventure is awesome as it can be. Matt has a dawn till dusk worth ethic and isn’t afraid of launching early, ending late or doing whatever it takes to help you meet your fly fishing goals. Whether you are a first time angler or have years of experience, you’re guaranteed to have a great time.
Matt is a Thomas & Thomas pro staff guide and you will enjoy fly fishing with one of their hand crafted fly rods while fishing from his boat.

White River Fly Anglers offers White River & Norfork River fly fishing trips. We have the best White River Fly Fishing Guides in Arkansas.
We charge$550 for a full day of epic fly fishing, $400 for a half day. 1 or 2 anglers
(Add a third angler for $100). Full day fly fishing trips include a beautiful shore lunch, flies and tackle. We also provide top of the line rods and reels. We can accommodate large parties of anglers and work closely with a number of other local guides. Lodging is available upon request. A $200 deposit per boat per day is due at the time you book. The remainder will be charged on the day of your fly fishing trip. Gratuities are not included in the cost but are welcomed and appreciated. Deposits will not be refunded if cancellation is within two weeks of the fly fishing trip.
